One of my goals for 2016 is to test every Lush bath bomb and as many bubble bars as I can. As the great Leonardo da Vinci once said, ‘Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgement.” What is more relaxing close to home than a luxurious bath? This year I will review products from my fav shop that makes fresh and handmade beauty goods, Lush! So draw up a bath, get a good book and a glass of wine, and let’s relax!
Lush’s Stardust bath bomb was an out of the blue (no pun intended) standout. I was not expecting much from it since it is a white bath bomb, but it not only smelled lovely but it turned the water a beautiful pale opaque blue. It felt like bathing in milk and clouds, with little floating stars. It has Ugandan vanilla from the Mountains of the Moon (a real, gorgeous place, I looked it up) and precious, intoxicating rosewood. This little guy packs a punch!
I think this bath bomb would be a superb candidate to use with Lush’s Milky Bath bubble bar for an extra moisturizing and bubbly soak. Milky Bath smells of cocoa butter, skimmed milk and olive oil and is incredibly softening. You can read my review of it here. I would definitely use the Stardust bath bomb again!
