One of my *unofficial* goals for 2015 is to relax more. As the great Leonardo da Vinci once said, ‘Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgement.” What is more relaxing close to home than a luxurious bath? This year I will review products from my fav shop that makes fresh and handmade beauty goods, Lush! So draw up a bath, get a good book and a glass of wine, and let’s relax!
Halloween Lush products are out!! (Ok, I’m a little late to start talking about them… the Christmas products are out too! We’ll get to those later- yes, I have lots of them in my pile ready to be tested!) The haul for Halloween this year was small, and I only got the two bath bombs. Let’s take a look at the Lord of Misrule for this post. I loved this bath bomb. It slowwwwllllyyyyyy dissolves in the water, swirling and spinning and releasing frothy goodness that smelled of patchouli and black pepper oil.
This bath bomb is based on the ruler of the Feast of Fools- where wine flowed freely. Reminiscent of that idea the interior bursts forth with a rich wine-colored center which quickly stains the color of the water a rich deep Merlot red. The actual water is so soft and the scent is very relaxing. It’s a perfect bath bomb to relax with a good book and a glass of wine.
My local Lush store has sold out of these bath bombs, but you can still get them online as of today! I’ll certainly be picking it up again next year!
