Pacific Northwest Trip: Day 5- Cannon Beach, OR/Seaside, OR

Day 5 of our Epic ‘chummy’ trip to the Pacific Northwest was spent in Cannon Beach, OR and the nearby town of Seaside, OR. We went to Seaside’s aquarium where we fed sea lions, saw an octopus and a fish that floated over to the US from Japan after the tsunami in some wreckage. We shopped in Cannon Beach’s many cute shops, and enjoyed the beach. It was another chilly and wet day, but that can’t stop us!

Our first order of business was the Aquarium in Seaside, OR. That’s where we fed the sea lions and saw all sorts of interesting Pacific creatures including sea cucumbers, an octopus, and a Japanese fish that stowed away in a boat which took 2 years to float to the US after the tsunami in 2011!
